Hazen and Sawyer, a leading firm specializing in environmental engineering and water/wastewater treatment, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Analyst with a focus on digital experience and digital consulting services. The ideal candidate will possess a solid business acumen, have experience with digital tools, systems, and networks, and will have strong analytical skills to drive process improvements and innovation within the organization.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead or co-lead client-facing projects from proposal development all the way to project delivery and close-out.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and objectives within utility management services.
    • Analyze current business processes from design to finish and identify areas for improvement and optimization.
      • Lead interactive workshops and facilitate discussions to gather requirements and translate them into actionable insights and solutions.
        • Identify and recommend digital solutions, systems, and tools to enhance operational efficiency.
          • Develop an understanding of client culture and business needs to develop strategic recommendations for process enhancements and technology implementations.
            • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
              • Collaborate with and provide leadership to cross-functional teams including engineers, developers, and project managers to drive successful implementation of digital solutions.
                • Lead the development of business cases, project plans, and documentation to support decision-making processes. Qualifications:
                  • Bachelor's degree in related Engineering field
                  • Preferred: Professional Engineer (PE) license with an MBA, or Environmental Scientist with an MBA, or digital technology/IT degree with an MBA.
                  • 6-10 years of experience in business analysis, digital consulting experience, or utility management.
                  • Strong understanding of business processes within utility management services, from design to execution.
                  • Experience conducting/participating in interactive workshops and facilitating discussions with stakeholders.
                  • Ability to analyze data and derive meaningful insights to drive decision-making.
                  • Familiarity with water quality and/or water/wastewater conveyance and treatment processes is preferred.
                  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
                  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
