Key Information -Full Time position with salary and benefitsReporting to the Principal when in residence and the Global Property Manager at other timesHours are generally M - F, Winter 8a.m.-5p.m., Summer 9a.m.-6p.m weekends as necessaryLive-out--Salary: DOE $45,000 - $70,000 + benefits package 2 weeks' vacation - one week to be taken when the Principal is not in residence, annual discretionary bonus.Location: Aspen, ColoradoStart Date: January--Preferred Qualities:Attention to detailIncredible organizational skills, no task can fall through the cracksResourceful- able to think creatively to solve novel problemsDiscreteThick skinnedExcellent communication skillsPrepared to wear many hats, no task is beneath them, no task is too complex--Responsibilities:Upkeep of the property plant and equipment of the ResidenceExpected to provide day-to-day general support to the Principal and the family as neededLiaising with the Estate Manager and Office/HR Manager regarding the Principal's calendar; ensuring Principal is aware of relevant appointments--Organizing and assisting with event planning in Aspen - dinner parties, activities for groups of guests etc.--Recruiting for the on-season: sourcing waitresses, housekeepers, last minute chefs etc. as needed when the Principal is in residence, and managing and training them on the family's standards and preferencesEnsuring there is suitable cover for the 2 days off each week, i.e. Saturday, Sunday--Light cooking - especially breakfasts, all recipes and preferences are within the Master List--Maintaining robust relationships with suppliers and vendorsCreating and maintaining efficient electronic systems to record weekly/monthly invoices, receipts and expenses and sending these reports to the Estate ManagerWeekly inventory updates to be sent to the Estate ManagerPurchasing of all perishable items, everything else is purchase by the Estate ManagerMonitoring deliveries and arranging returnsPreparing living space to suit the Principal's demands, e.g. setting water bottles where required, having the correct type of bathroom amenities available etc. All this information is contained within the Master List, which can be referred to at any time.Proactive with simple household repairs, fixing them directly as and when they can, and calling in repair companies when they cannotMaintaining the cars - keeping on top of services, when to put chains on wheels and liaising with the local mechanics--Conduct all required seasonal maintenance and as needed - either directly or through local--Sorting mail, separating junkCreating and maintaining efficient electronic systems to record weekly/monthly invoices, receipts and expenses--Working from the family's home to oversee suppliers, contractors and various appointments as neededMonitoring the progress of projects, to ensure that they are being prioritized in accordance with the Principal's wishes and that outcomes are being reached in a satisfactory timeframe and to the standard expected--RequirementsExcellent references required from both current and previous employersMinimum 2 years working in a similar role in the property management or hospitality industryStrong command of English language; superb communication skills, both written and verbalBachelor's Degree preferred but not required as long as relevant experience and references are as requiredValid Driver's License and legally able to work within the United States--Open to receiving resumes/introductions directly at: iz@yleanaglobal.com and ap@yleanaglobal.com
