Description:Job Title: General ManagerReports to: Director of
Operations/ServiceEmployment Status: Full-Time, Exempt-SalaryWe are
looking for a team leader who is energetic, detail-oriented,

Advanced interpersonal skills to help navigate complex working
relationships and a strategic mindset that allows to plan and
develop talent management, training, and safety.Essential Functions
and Duties:The position of General Manager is an overall leadership
position responsible for the overall quality of guest experience,
food & service, financial performance, and maintenance of the
property and all staff within it.Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Recruits, interviews, and hires.
- Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
- Coach and mentor other managers in the outlets.What we are
looking for:
- Creative input in all areas of service, products, and
atmosphere; including overseeing the implementation of service
standards and training manuals for each position and each
outlet.
- Front-of-House hiring, retention, and scheduling.
- Staff training, mentorship & development, and morale
- Development of training manuals, SOPs, and timelines
- Maintain standards of service to industry relevance, growth,
profitability, and all-around quality
- Embody and model the leadership and accountability that you
will hold your team to
- Establishment and execution of product cost, labor cost, and
expense goals for all departments and outlets within the guidelines
and assistance of the MML Executive Team
- Management development and creation of systems for hiring &
reviews; mentorship and training of existing and new management to
encourage company and personal growth in all hospitality skills:
operations, floor management, administrative duties and daily
service.
- Overall building & equipment maintenance
- Bookkeeping and bill payment, understanding & ownership of the
PnL; establish clear and consistent day-to-day communication of
finances and performance with the MML Executive Team and
partners.
- Creation of strong communication and teamwork with BOH chefs
and hourly staff and MML Team via daily Avero notes, emails, and
verbal communication.
- Create and sustain a strong and meaningful professional
relationship with MML Partners
- Participate in and contribute to creative strategies to help
grow the current business including programming and incentives to
drive traffic.
- Capture and retain regular guests.
- Nurture the previous clientele and continue to create new
connections in the local community.
- Maintenance of Restaurant to MML & Pitkin County Health
Department Standards
- Other duties as assigned.Requirements:Required
Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Working understanding of human resource principles, practices,
and procedures.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet
deadlines.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful
environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or
equivalent experience.Education and Experience:
- Four years of progressive experience in high-volume food
production or catering
- At least 3 years of previous high-level experience in a
well-established restaurant
- An equivalent combination of relevant education and/or
experience is considered.
- Ability to work in a high-stress environment.Physical
