As we continuously innovate and refine our care model, the role of the Child Behavior Therapist, or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) -is essential. Through our specialized approach, we empower children with autism, guiding them towards realizing their full potential. Our methods are rooted in the principles of the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM), a play-based approach within the framework of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy. By joining our team, you'll play a vital role in advancing our mission-driven care model. Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized ABA therapy sessions to children aged 2-6 in our clinic, adhering to the profession's rigorous standards - Implement intervention plans developed by our expert Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), ensuring alignment with ABA therapy principles - Build rapport and maintain ongoing communication with families, providing regular updates on their child's progress within the ABA framework - Participate in continuous training and professional development to stay abreast of advancements in ABA therapy and maintain certification - Qualifications: Preferably enrolled in or completed a degree program, with a focus on Child Development, Psychology, or related fields - Ability to obtain and maintain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (Soar provides paid training) - Previous experience working with children, particularly those with autism, and a passion for helping them thrive - Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues - What We Offer: Competitive compensation ranging from $20.50 to $26.00 per hour, with regular bonus and promotion opportunities; all staff members are considered every 3 months for a raise or promotion - Comprehensive health benefits, including medical, dental, and vision plans - Student loan repayment and tuition reimbursement benefits - Priority access to in-network mental health support through our partnership with Sol Mental Health - Opportunities for career growth and exploration in Behavior Analysis, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, and other related fields - Guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week for full-time roles Supportive training for RBT certification and best practices in ABA therapy - A collaborative and enjoyable work environment where every team member's contributions are valued - Join Soar Autism Center as a Child Behavior Therapist and be part of a team dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of children on the autism spectrum!
