Title: Respiratory Therapist – Traveler Job Type: Contract /
Traveler Shift: Nights, including weekends Community Hospital is
seeking a dedicated and experienced Respiratory Therapist (RT) for
a traveler/contract assignment. The ideal candidate will be a
licensed RT who can adapt quickly, deliver high-quality care, and
is comfortable working night shifts and weekends as part of a
rotating schedule. Administer respiratory therapy care and life
support to patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the
cardiopulmonary system. Operate and maintain respiratory equipment
such as ventilators, oxygen therapy devices, and aerosol
generators. Assess patient response to therapy and make appropriate
recommendations to the care team. Document all patient
interactions, therapy procedures, and patient responses accurately
in the electronic medical record (EMR). Perform arterial blood gas
sampling, analysis, and interpretation. Collaborate with
physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize
patient care plans. Adhere to infection control, safety protocols,
and regulatory standards. Provide patient and family education
related to respiratory care and equipment use. Night shifts
