Join our healthcare team and provide exceptional perinatal care in one of the nation’s most scenic locations.\n \n\nTravel Nursing Job Details\n \n Location: Aspen, Colorado (81611) – Rocky Mountains\n Assignment Length: 13-week travel contract\n Start Date: October 28, 2025\n End Date: January 27, 2026\n Shift: 12-hour day shifts\n Hours per Week: 36\n Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2730 - $2920\n Employment Type: Travel RN, On-Site\n \n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n Active and unrestricted Colorado RN license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)\n Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred\n Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (may be obtained upon hire)\n Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Advanced Provider certification\n Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) Intermediate – Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses\n The STABLE Program – STABLE Learner\n Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a perinatal or Labor & Delivery RN\n Ability to safely function in a high-altitude, low oxygen environment (8,000 ft elevation)\n Preferred: Experience with EPIC electronic health records, BSN/MSN, and bilingual in Spanish\n \n\nLabor & Delivery RN Responsibilities\n \n Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients in Labor & Delivery and Perinatal units\n Monitor maternal and fetal well-being, including fetal heart monitoring and assessment\n Assist with deliveries and provide immediate newborn care, including neonatal resuscitation\n Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes\n Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care\n Maintain accurate and timely documentation using electronic health records (EHR)\n \n\n Important: Housing in Aspen is limited and can be expensive, especially during winter.
