Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Medical Lab Technician - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Shift: M-F 7am-3:30pm OR 9am-5pm /n/nWork Experience:/n/n Medical Lab Technician performs routine and special laboratory assays of patient /n/n specimens in all sections of Clinical Laboratory Medicine to obtain data for use in diagnosis and /n/n treatment of disease. Performs various microscopic, chemical, hematological, immunologic, or /n/n bacteriologic assays according to established standards. Calibrates and operates all instruments and /n/n equipment according to preventive maintenance schedule /n/n/nEducation:/n/n Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology /n/n • American Society for Clinical Pathology - Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) /n/n • Successful completion of a supervised one year clinical internship. /n/n/nLicense:/n/nMLT/n/nMT/n/n /n/nCertifications: /nBLS/CPR Certification.
