This role requires strong clinical skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulatory standards. Support patients and families with education and emotional care. Required Education ASN – Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing. Preferred Education Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Required Certifications & Licensure Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of Colorado. Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association. Advanced certifications as appropriate for unit or service (ACLS, NRP, PALS). Preferred Certifications & Licensure Specialty certification relevant to Emergency Department practice. Qualifications Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills. Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to rapidly changing situations. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Commitment to patient safety and quality care.
