Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 02/02/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab Job Details: • Work 4x10 hour day shifts with call responsibilities • Call requirements include 1-2 weeknight calls per week and 2 weekend calls per 6-week pay cycle • Holiday call requirements apply • Call response time is 30 minutes • On-call schedule: 8-10 calls per 6-week pay period • Handle 10-20 cases per day on average • Work in 2 cardiac catheterization labs, 2 electrophysiology labs, and 1 hybrid suite • Assist in scrub, monitor, and circulating roles within the department • Treat patients with STEMI, cardiogenic shock, CAD, PAD, atrial fibrillation, and flutter • Must have solid STEMI and cardiovascular lab technician experience • Floating requirements within the department • Self-scheduling and block scheduling available • Use EPIC electronic medical record system • Unit-specific orientation required • Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), RCIS via CCI, RCES via CCI • Must maintain current driver's license and work within 60-mile radius • Scrub color and dress code requirements apply Facility: This Level 1 trauma center provides comprehensive cardiac and electrophysiology services in an acute care setting. The facility features state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization laboratories and electrophysiology suites, along with a hybrid operating room for complex cardiovascular procedures. The organization maintains high standards for cardiac care and utilizes advanced technology including EPIC electronic medical records to support patient care and clinical workflows. Location: Lakewood, CO Lakewood offers an ideal location just west of Denver with easy access to both urban amenities and outdoor recreation in the Rocky Mountains.
