Pharmacist Location: Grand Junction, CO Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $61 to $70 per hour Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Permanent (Full Time) Pay Rate: $61.00 to $70.15/Hourly. Summary: The Pharmacist is responsible for dispensing medications, reviewing prescriptions for accuracy and safety, and providing guidance to patients and healthcare professionals regarding the safe and effective use of medications. The Pharmacist ensures compliance with all regulatory standards while delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care. Responsibilities: Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy, dosage, and potential drug interactions. Dispense prescription medications in accordance with legal and professional standards. Counsel patients on proper medication use, side effects, and storage. Provide drug information and clinical advice to physicians and healthcare staff. Monitor patient medication therapy and recommend adjustments when necessary. Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff. Requirements Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy required; Doctor of pharmacy preferred with at least one (1) year of related experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires current, unrestricted licensure as a Pharmacist in the State of Colorado. Basic life support (BLS) and advanced life support (ALS) Certification required, Certified Pharmacist.
