Ultrasound Tech Location: Grand Junction, CO Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $1,980 to $2,160 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days Contract Duration: 26 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pay Rate: $55.00 - $60.00/Hourly. Summary: An Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) performs diagnostic imaging procedures using ultrasound equipment to help physicians diagnose and monitor medical conditions. They ensure patient safety, comfort, and accurate image acquisition for clinical evaluation. Responsibilities: Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures in accordance with provider orders and clinical standards. Ensure all equipment is powered on, calibrated, and fully operational prior to patient procedures. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment, including: Cleaning and disinfecting all equipment after each use (scanner, exam table, counters, consoles, workstations, etc.), Stocking exam rooms with necessary supplies. Communicate ultrasound results to referring providers as directed. Manage timely follow-up for STAT results, call reports, and patients awaiting results. Accurately transfer images, patient information, and exam documentation to Virtual Radiology for after-hours cases. Support clinic workflow and provide excellent patient care and service. Requirements Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required, Minimum of 2 years of related ultrasound experience preferred, ARDMS, BLS Certification.
