Located in the heart of the western part of the Colorado Rockies midway between Aspen and Vail, this world-class medical facility with a level III trauma center provides a healing environment of nurturing, compassionate, and personalized care along a team of over 200 physicians on staff committed to patient care excellence. This 36 hour-week day position is in the Rehab Department of the hospital. Additional inpatient physical therapy hours may be available on the weekends to increase to 40-hours/week. Duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to: Evaluates patients, develops and implements an appropriate treatment plan for a variety of diagnoses. Designs and implements programs to improve strength, ROM, balance, safety and function. Educates patient and care givers on appropriate home exercise programs. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy Current Colorado Physical Therapist License (DORA) Must have one (1) year of PT experience; 3-5 years of experience is preferred Pelvic Floor Therapy experience is required Maintains a Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner of Certification Must have completed Level 1 Herman and Wallace course; Level 2 and 3 preferred Speak fluent Spanish preferred, but not required Live and work in a town with the largest hot springs pool in the world and is a mecca for skiing, snowboarding, rafting, kayaking, fishing, mountain climbing, ice or rock climbing, camping, and beautiful mountains.
