Job Summary:

The Customer Experience Officer (CXO) manages the front end of the closing office including keeping the space clean and presentable, greeting customers enthusiastically and professionally, and coordinating daily closing activities. Additionally, s/he may be responsible for order entry, file set-up, and basic file processing. The ideal candidate is warm and professional as they are responsible for providing phenomenal service to our clients both over the phone and in person. Our Customer Experience Officer must be detail oriented and have a solid working knowledge of e-mail, Microsoft Office Suite, and the Internet as they may be called upon to create and/or manage office reports. This role would be a great entry point into the Title and/or Real Estate industry for someone looking to make a career change or launch a career with a phenomenal company.

Your Day-to-Day

Customer Interaction

  • Greet customers enthusiastically and professionally, either in person or over the phone, with emphasis on representing Land Title in a way that builds customer relationships and a positive corporate image
  • Answer customer inquiries in a timely and accurate manner; provide information to authorized persons, or determine who can best provide the information and route the request

Pre-Closing Activities

  • Efficiently coordinate daily closing activity, including closing room schedules, calendars, meetings, and events while focusing on customer needs, space limitations, and timely service
  • Process incoming customer orders per Company standards
  • Compile personal profile information of Seller(s), Buyer(s), or Borrower(s); when applicable load into available customer management software

Closing

  • Notify closers of customers' arrival, guide customers to closing rooms, and coordinate clean-up of closing rooms, refreshment area, and lobby

Office Administration

  • Assist in the creation, preparation, and distribution of reports in support of the organization (e.g., customer satisfaction graphs, closing activity, etc.)
  • Compile data for over/short report and escheating
  • Provide administrative assistance in document distribution (faxing, copying, shipping, and mailing), typing reports and memos, maintaining computer-based and paper files, order and maintenance of office supplies, and performing other clerical tasks as needed
  • Distribute incoming and outgoing correspondence and all package deliveries (FedEx, Express) to appropriate recipients

Other Duties

  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the manager

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Solid working knowledge of E-mail, Google Suite, and Internet
  • Experience working in a customer service environment

Compensation for this position is between $34,000 to $40,000 base salary. In addition, we offer an annual discretionary employee bonus (dependent on Company and individual performance). Any overtime assigned and worked will be additionally compensated at the hourly equivalent rate for time worked, as this is a non-exempt position.
