Job Description:
Job Description Elevation Hotel and Spa is seeking Part-Time
Banquet Servers. The Banquet Server at Elevation Hotel and Spa /
Boxer Resorts reports to the Catering Manager and will serve guests
in a hospitable manner to ensure positive guest experience. The
best individual for this role will have a fresh, optimistic,
enthusiastic and service-laced attitude. Role and Responsibilities : Read BEOs and know how to complete a
set-up Assist with setup/breakdown of events as needed Inspect
banquet setups for proper linen, silverware, glassware and china as
per BEO and uniformity of the event space Serve banquet food to
guests using techniques as per company standard to maintain
consistency and quality of service Stay in communication with
banquet captain/manager regarding any special needs or guest
requests Protects establishment and patrons by adhering to
sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies. Keeps
kitchen staff informed by noting timing of meal progression.
Responds to additional patron requirements by inquiring of needs;
observing dining process. Maintains table setting by removing
courses as completed; replenishing utensils; refilling water
glasses; being alert to patron spills or other special needs.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as
needed. Adhere to grooming and appearance standards Act as a
responsible and personable representative of Elevation Hotel & Spa
Able to work flexible shifts to consist of mornings, afternoons,
evening, weekends and holidays Qualifications Experience,
Education, Skill & Physical Requirements : Must be able to work a
flexible schedule including weekends and holidays Must be able to
speak, read, write and understand English Must be able to lift
large trays weighing up to 30lbs. Must be able to think quickly on
your feet, make smart decisions Must be able to willing to lend a
helping hand to any teammate at any time Must be able to take
direction and delegate responsibilities Customer service/restaurant
server experience preferred
