Job Overview:

Serves as the database administrator for Aspen Valley Hospital Foundation. Supports the Foundation in all aspects of fundraising, special events, long-term planning, and stewardship of hospital donors through the integrity, performance and security of the Donor Database.

Primary Scope of Responsibilities:

  • Serves as Database Administrator for the Development Team by managing the Raiser's Edge donor database, including maintenance, user accounts, global changes, reporting, queries, and data cleanup projects to ensure database integrity;
  • Serves as Database Training Coordinator for Department; schedules staff training; evaluates contracts and makes recommendations to President;
  • Supports Development team by providing wealth screening data for donor profiles;
  • Oversees gift entry and acknowledgement letters; performs timely donor audits to ensure accuracy; uploads new letter templates to database;
  • Develops clear and accurate reporting systems, key metric tracking, instruction manual(s) to access reports, and dashboards and data extracts;
  • Establishes Standard Operating Procedures for entry and reporting to ensure all entries conform to those procedures;
  • Produces timely mailing lists for invitations, newsletters, and direct mail pieces;
  • Monitors and tracks all event and appeal revenues; reports data to Development team;
  • Serves as data entry backup to the Executive Assistant
  • Assists development team members with ensuring actions and other data is entered correctly and timely
  • Completes bi-weekly employee payroll deduction batching
  • Produces and executes Grateful Patient mailings
  • Performs any other related duties as may be assigned by the President/CEO or other designee.

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in database administration or related field is required
  • Strong interpersonal skills required
  • Strong written and oral communication skills required

*Our hire-in rates of pay are based on years of relevant experience. Listed below are our hire-in rates for the position, which includes: minimum pay (no relevant experience) and mid-point (12 or more years).

Minimum = $30.69/hr

Mid-Point = $39.93/hr
