Job Description:

Identifies user practice workflow and process issues and concerns. Provides leadership and guidance to define system and process requirements that will optimize system performance and technology utilization by users. Supports physicians, clinicians, health care workers, support services, and affiliates by providing continuous support, troubleshooting and identifying opportunities for information system improvements. Utilizes resources and managed service providers to promptly resolve issues. Promotes future and present system functionality by designing, building and testing the clinical information systems. # ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS # I ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES # # Application Support Tier 1/2 # Provide end user support for application portfolio. Resolves Tier 1 tickets and system problems. Escalates issues as needed, to the appropriate resource. Provides at-the-elbow support to end users, as much as possible. Participates in strategic and tactical planning for application development, reporting and enhancement with IT management staff. Aim to resolve issues the first time they are reported. Participates in on-call rotation. # # Project Management # Plans, reviews and oversees implementation of activities, resources and timelines required to complete systems development projects, systems administration, and reporting. Brings clinical and financial review to all projects to ensure usability of functionality is achieved. Prepares or oversees preparation of project charters and project plans for all projects. Coordinates activities with IT management. Serves as liaison to user departments for all projects. Manages super users and super user assignments during projects. Deliver regular reports that clearly communicate the results and/or progress of projects to management. # # Process Analyst # Assures systems development and maintenance provides efficient workflow and processing for end users. Creates communication for system enhancements and fixes. Provides training on system changes. Participates in current and future state definition of activities, creating process flow diagrams. Prepares reports, presentations, and workflow mapping of activities. Oversees standardization of all new clinical documentation. # # Technical Report Writer # Develop customized reports from databases to extract and collect data according to the end user or management needs. Builds and repairs data reports and software applications to support reporting needs. # # Customer Service # Deal directly with end users. Respond promptly to customer inquiries. Handle and resolve customer complaints, utilizing service recovery techniques. Keep records of end user interactions and issues through ticket system. Follow up on end user interactions. Direct requests and unresolved issues to the appropriate support team. Serve as an advocate for the end user in getting issues resolved. Participate in on-call rotation. # # Responsible for adhering to the establish Service Standards and processes of the IT Department. # # Maintain application training and certification, as assigned by the IT Director. Experience should include 1 year working in healthcare environment strongly.   • Bachelor?s degree preferred.
  • 5 years? successful experience as a systems user or analyst preferred
  • Knowledge of IT applications and their utilization required
  • Experience leading projects and directing efforts of multiplepeople. Experience should include 1 year working in healthcare environment strongly.
