Job Description:

Mon-Fri, 40 hours. Full-Time w/ some (minimal)#rotating calling. Develops and helps to maintain the electronic medical system, software applications and databases for AVH. Possesses a deep understanding of data gathering, data storage and methods of data sharing. Able to skillfully interpret datasets as they relate to the organization#s needs and goals. Maintains strong understanding of business practices of organization to actively contribute to establishing innovative IT initiatives to advance organizational operations and outcomes through effective software use and support. # ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS #### I ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES # # Application Support Tier 1/2 # Provide end user support for application portfolio. Resolves Tier 1 tickets and system problems. Escalates issues as needed, to the appropriate resource. Provides at-the-elbow support to end users, as much as possible. Participates in strategic and tactical planning for application development, reporting and enhancement with IT management staff. Aim to resolve issues the first time they are reported. Participates in on-call rotation. # # Project Management II # Plans, reviews and oversees implementation of activities, resources and timelines required to complete systems development projects, systems administration, and reporting. Brings clinical and financial review to all projects to ensure usability of functionality is achieved. Prepares or oversees preparation of project charters and project plans for all projects. Coordinates activities with IT management. Serves as liaison to user departments for all projects. Manages super users and super user assignments during projects. Deliver regular reports that clearly communicate the results and/or progress of projects to management. # # Process Analyst II # Implements applications, tools and processes that assist organization with the management of data and the provision of health care. Maintains changes to referential data, across applications. Assists with application customization including the development of alerts/hard stops, data integration, order generation, automation of document entry and enforcement of adherence to workflows. Recommends innovative ideas, processes, and/or procedures for enhancements, additions, and modifications to improve existing systems. Research#s data across multiple applications to resolve discrepancies and/or improve workflow. # # Technical Report Writer II # Interpret, modify, analyze and design clinical systems, data and information. Manage and lead the development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of quality reporting within the organization. Monitor and report data as related to the EHR and other software applications. # # # Customer Service # Deal directly with end users. Respond promptly to customer inquiries. Handle and resolve customer complaints, utilizing service recovery techniques. Keep records of end user interactions and issues through ticket system. Follow up on end user interactions. Direct requests and unresolved issues to the appropriate support team. Serve as an advocate for the end user in getting issues resolved. Participate in on-call rotation. # # Responsible for adhering to the establish Service Standards and processes of the IT Department. # # Maintain application training and certification, as assigned by the IT Director. Expansive understanding of structured query language (SQL) and# HL7 standards. Knowledge and experience with health IT applications and their utilization. Certification on eClinicalWorks. # KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS # Ability to concentrate and show attention to detail High degree of analytical abilities and problem solving Ability to work independently Strong communication skill; approachable, outgoing, and enthusiastic Strong computer skills and experience with clinical information systems development and/or implementation Effective written communication, ability to prepare concise, detailed reports and documentation Understand fundamentals of project management methodologies # LANGUAGE SKILLS # Ability to read and communicate effectively in English # WORKING CONDITIONS # Normal patient care environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust and temperature May be exposed to communicable diseases through normal or careless performance of responsibilities May be exposed to mechanical dangers associated with mechanical devices May be exposed to stressful situations # # Mon-Fri, 40 hours.
