Job Description Job Description: Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (Cardiology) – Grand Junction, CO When you join us, you’ll become a part of a nationally recognized health system dedicated to our mission of “helping people live the healthiest lives possible.” About this role: As an Advanced Practice Provider in Cardiology you’ll work with Cardiologists and Advanced Practitioners to provide top-notch care and patient experience. Throughout the day you’ll collaborate with Cardiologists in both an inpatient and outpatient setting. - You would practice at our West Park Clinic in beautiful Grand Junction, CO - You would work 4 ten hour shifts during the weekdays, no call/no weekends - Seeing about 12-14 patient per day when fully trained - This position would see general cardiology patients as well as some EP patients How we'll support you: We care about your well-being which is why we provide our caregivers a generous benefits package. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require: - Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program, required - Valid license/certification as Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Colorado or able to obtain, required - DEA and full prescriptive authority, required - BLS and ACLS, required - Minimum of 1 years of experience as an NP or PA working in an inpatient or outpatient cardiology setting, highly desired About us: Life in Grand Junction, CO Grand Junction, CO is the largest city between Denver and Salt Lake City, UT.
